Conceived of as both a musical release and an art object in the form of a compact disc inside a jewel case, Unplugged at the Practice Room features five original tracks written, sung, strung, and recorded by the artist using his smartphone. Originally released on all streaming platforms on November 1, 2021, the tracks were later scraped off the internet mimicking the trend of musical artists who continuously rebrand and disavow, if not completely ignore the existence of, their previous musical endeavors. Notably, this musical release and the compact disc as an object are attributed to “Ceyhun Fırat”, rather than the mononym “Ceyhun”.
